Page tags are part of Google Analytics and they are called Google Analytics Tracking Code which is a fragment of JavaScript that the owner implements on all page of the website. The tracking code is implemented in the client browser and important information is found. The tracking code has in store a bigger JavaScript file from the Google web server which sets different quality criteria varying with the user’s account number. The bigger file measures 18 kb. Loading of the file is not essential due to browser caching.

Not only this, other than providing information to Google server, the tracking code puts a first party cookie on each user’s computer. This cookie has in store additional information called the Clientld.

Google Analytics is activated to mobile websites through mobile packages. Server tracking codes such as ASP.NET, Java Server Pages or Perl is used as a server-side script in the mobile package. Google Analytics tracking code can be blocked by adding screening extensions and programs and mobile apps like Disconnect mobile.

Google Analytics cookies can also be blocked or deleted by users. Google Analytics cannot collect data without these cookies which are loaded into the system. In this case, website owners can adopt a different approach to setting privacy policy.

Google Analytics hardly affect site performance as Google’s JavaScript code allows pages to run swiftly. It is still the most popular website analytics service in the world.
